Day Wise Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Guwahati

Depending on your arrival time, we will work out a suitable sightseeing program for you.
Overnight stay in hotel / hotel standards are available.

Day 2

Day trip to Assam silk production

We will visit a village where typical Assam silk is produced. Discover the village with us and experience the various processes from silkworm breeding to the processing of the typical Assam silk “Ahimsa Eri”.

Trip: 2 hours
Overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 3

Assam weaving and Kamakhya temple

We will spend the morning in the village of Sualkuchi, which is known for its typical weaving mills

The journey is led by an experienced English-speaking local guide who provides cultural insights, assists communication with local communities, and ensures smooth coordination throughout the tour.

Comfortable guesthouses or mid-range hotels in major towns such as Delhi, Rumtek and Gangtok. Simpler guesthouses are used in remote regions, offering authentic local experiences.

Homestays provide cultural immersion rather than luxury comfort. Facilities are simple, meals are home-cooked, and travelers gain insight into authentic local lifestyles.

Vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals are available. Hiking days usually include packed lunches. Drinks are not included except breakfast beverages. Boiled water or tea may be available during hikes for an additional cost.
