Day 1: |
Transfer from Bagdogra Airport (or Module „Darjeeling“ or „Kalimpong“, „Kolkota“ or „Delhi“) to Sikkim’s picturesque countryside. Overnight in a quiet Boutique Hotel surrounded by paddy fields and bamboo groves. |

Day 2: |
Experience the culture of Sikkim’s indigenous people, the Lepchas and Sikkim’s monastic heritage. Visit a typical Lepcha-village and meet the village-shaman (Bumthing). Visit Buddhist monasteries. Overnight in Boutique Hotel. |

Day 3: |
Day-trip to Gangtok with sightseeing as per your interest. Overnight in Boutique Hotel. |

Day 4: |
On to the north! Experience gushing waterfalls and rugged, wild mountain worlds. Travel from the subtropical to the alpine zone. Take a stroll through the village past traditional homes made of rammed-earth, stone and wood. Visit the local monastery and nunnery. Overnight in Lachen, 8’500 ft in a middle-class hotel or homestay. |

Day 5: |
Excursion to the last settlement before the boundary to Tibet/China. Also take a walk in the picturesque Chopta Valley beyond the tree line. If you are Indian citizen you may also visit Gurudongma Lake. Overnight in a middle-class hotel or homestay. |

Day 6: |
Transfer to the valley of Lachung. Visit the high altitude valley of flowers Yumthang, 11’800 ft, where over 24 species of Rhododendron bloom from April to end of May. Take an optional nature hike, trek through rhododendron-jungle and, grazing yaks and visit the hot spring. If you are Indian citizen you may also continue further north to visit Shiv Mandir and the hot springs and rugged vegetation-free mountains of Yumesamdong, 16’000 ft. Overnight in middle- or upper middle-class Hotel. |

Day 7: |
Transfer back to East Sikkim. Overnight in Boutique hotel. |

Day 8: |
Excursion to a village with an active school for disadvantaged children. There is also time for more sightseeing or shopping in Gangtok. Overnight in Boutique Hotel. |

Day 9: |
On to the south! Along the way visit Sikkim’s biggest tea garden and the gigantic statue of Guru Padmasambhava. Take a walk through a typical Bhutia-village. Overnight in homestay. |

Day 10: |
Visit the shrines, temples and monastery of Tashiding and continue on to Yoksum. Overnight in middle-class Hotel or homestay. |

Day 11: |
Visit the coronation site of Sikkim’s first king and continue on to the small wish fulfilling lake of Kechoperi to the monastery of Pemayangtse in Pelling. Overnight in middle- or upper class Hotel |

Day 12: |
Transfer to a remote region in Sikkim’s west. Visit an active monastic school and attend the daily prayer ceremonies. Take a nature walk. Overnight in Farmhouse. |

Day 13: |
Rest-day at the Farmhouse or explore the area by foot: See an authentic Lepcha-house, local farms and old temples.Overnight in Farmhouse. |

Day 14: |
Transfer to Bagdogra Airport or continue with with Module "Darjeeling", "Kalimpong", "Delhi" or "Kolkota". |
