Introduction

Discover with us the lesser known Eastern Himalayas in the district of Darjeeling.  The tour starts and ends at Darjeeling town. Along the boundary between Nepal and India you trek to the Singelela-ridge from where you can enjoy fantastic himalayan panoramas. With weather-luck here you get to see not only the Sikkim-Himalayas with Mt. Khangchendzonga at view-point Phalut -  but also the giants of the Nepal Himalayas including Mt. Everest, Makalu and Lhotse to the West. During your trek you cross through a protected jungle-area rich in biodiversity and in spring from April to May you can also experience various types of Rhododendron in bloom.
You will pass through several Sherpa-villages and gain insights into their culture and lifestyle. This trekking is ideal for guests who wish to avoid extreme altitudes and overnights in tents while at the same time enjoying trekking and great panoramic views.
